DIY Toolset & Safety 101
Safety & Tools 101
Our Safety & Tools 101 is an introductory lesson featuring fundamental safety rules to follow when working with shop tools. This lesson is typically the first to be provided to students who will participate in any DIY Builder’s curriculum that will leverage several sets of tools. Tools are identified and described in depth in this lesson, and we take the time to label our tools to set us up for success when using them in future enrichment curricula.
We recommend students engaging with any intermediate or advanced DIY Builders modules take this lesson or at minimum be introduced specifically to the tools they will be interacting with to assemble their projects.
