DIY Wooden Bluetooth Speaker
Level: Advanced
Advanced projects can typically be completed with 2-5 tools. Assembly can be completed in 60 - 90 minutes, and we recommend 60 - 90 minutes for planning and personalization. This project is appropriate for students in grades 5 and above.
Objective: Build a DIY wooden Bluetooth speaker
Students will use basic electrical 12V skills to build their very own DIY wooden Bluetooth speaker. Students will have an opportunity to get creative and decorate their wooden Bluetooth speakers, making them a perfect gift or bedroom decoration.
Instructors then have an opportunity to reinforce learnings by prompting questions such as:
What is Bluetooth?
What did you learn about building a speaker?
What will you listen to on your Bluetooth speaker?

Art supplies, scissors, a hammer, screwdriver handle, adapter bit, ⅝ wrench, ⅜ socket, #2 Phillips head screwdriver, precision flathead screwdriver, and needle nose pliers are not included but can be provided upon request. A hammer, screwdriver handle, adapter bit, ⅝ wrench, ⅜ socket, #2 Phillips head screwdriver, precision flathead screwdriver, and needle nose pliers are included in our standard toolset.
